Capcom has some good news to all "Street Fighter 5" fans. The game will release its final beta as well as a new story mode. According to Game Spot, Senior Product Manager Matt Dahlgren said that there is a possibility that an additional story expansion can happen.

In his statement, he said, "There's a possibility of that; we don't have anything planned just yet as we're just working on the first expansion, which is already very ambitious. But time will tell, if there's a lot of fan demand for things. There could be likelihood in the long-term."

Capcom has scheduled the beta launch of "Street Fighter V" on Jan. 30 at 12:01 a.m. PT until Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. PT. The beta launch is said to be the last and final stage before they finalize the "Street Fighter V" game.

Yoshinori Ono, executive producer of "Street Fighter V," revealed that the extended story component of the game will have a different route compared to that of what was introduced during the game's launch.

Ono said that they are dealing with two different approaches in order to hype up gamers. The prologue, which will mostly contain information about the characters, will serve as an introduction to players and what they can expect of the game.

He also added that those who will purchase the game will have access to in-game models and will not divulge on the "typical illustrations" of former "Street Fighter" versions. He said, "To be very clear: we're going to give [this story expansion] out for free. So anybody who has purchased the disc and has the game will be getting this content for free via an update coming in June."

Ono also revealed the scope of "Street Fighter V," saying that while they meant to cover all series of the "Street Fighter," this game will lie closely between "Street Fighter IV" and "Street fighter III." According to TechTimes, the prologue where the characters are introduced largely deals are for new gamers to familiarize themselves with the game.

The storyline expansion, however, will reveal more details about the characters as the story progresses. The expansions will also serve as the connecting scenes for "Street Fighter IV" and "Street Fighter III." "Street Fighter V" targets June 2016 as its launch date. The cinematic trailer of the game, according to Combo Friend Capcom, will reveal so much about the game alone.
