The HTC One M10 could be much improved compared to the rather disappointing One M9 model. The phone's specifications have been leaked in a detailed report that have the phone code-named "perfume."

The HTC One M10 will likely have a 5.1 QHD display and use the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Tech Radar reports.

Snapdragon 820 for Most Flagships in 2016

HTC is just one of the smartphone companies expected to use the Snapdragon 820 processor in its flagship phone in 2016. The Snapdragon 820 is expected to be a very impressive processor for Android phones. HTC will pair the Snapdragon 820 with the Adreno 530 graphics processing unit (GPU).

The HTC One M10 will most likely run an updated version of Android Marshmallow along with HTC's user interface called Sense 8.0.

Plenty of RAM and Storage Space

The leaks also show that the HTC One M10 will include 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage built-in and a microSD slot for additional storage.

Better Camera

Those who like to snap photos with their smartphone will be excited to know that HTC is actually upgrading the camera while lowering its megapixels. The HTC One M9 had a 20 megapixel (MP) sensor, but the HTC One M10 will only have a 12 MP sensor. The lower amount of megapixels will be replaced with a laser-assisted autofocus system for the best focused pictures possible.

The HTC One M10 is expected to look very similar to the One M9. The phone will likely have an all-metal body and retain the popular BoomSound dual-speaker system.

Not in Time for MWC

As we reported earlier, it does not look like HTC is ready to show off the One M10 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. MWC is at the end of February, but due to a last minute design change, HTC does not have a model ready for showing. Without a model of what the phone would look like, HTC is unable to officially announce the phone.

Flagship phones are expected from LG and Samsung at MWC.
