Production is only a few months into the filming of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," and while comic book fan boys are salivating for more information and photos from the set, Robert Downey Jr. has been quenching some of those thirsts with photos he's been posting online.

Recently Downey posted a photo with most of the cast and some crew out to lunch at a restaurant in London's Richmond suburb on Sunday, several news agencies reported.

Included at the long dining table with Iron Man star Downey are his co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson, who play Nick Fury, Thor and Black Widow respectively.

Also seated around the table are director Joss Whedon and producer Jeremy Latcham. Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky and Johansson's fiancé Romain Dauriac joined the celebrity-filled table.

Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk, was also in attendance at the star-studded luncheon, but only his shoulder made it into the photo that has been shared around the world.

Missing in action from the lunch, however, were the original film's co-stars Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and Cobie Smulders, who play Captain America, Hawkeye and Maria HIll respectively.

Avengers' newcomers Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olson and James Spader, who all play the film's antagonist roles of Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and the titular character Ultron, did not make the lunch either.

Downey and Ruffalo both have been busy in the past few weeks teasing fans by posting photos from the set of the film on their Twitter accounts. One photo was posted of the two of them together while another shows off a special boxing robe made for Johansson that reads "Black Widow" on the back.

Downey posted a photo with the chairs of all the returning stars from the first "Avengers" film, which has grossed $1.5 billion at the box officer worldwide.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" assembles in theaters May 1, 2015.
