Adele stuns the 2016 Grammy Awards crowd with her dramatic 50-pound weight loss.

Adele shined on the red carpet at the 2016 Grammy Awards wearing a black Givenchy gown. The "Hello" singer revealed in an interview that she lost weight to acquire more stamina during her tours.

"I was trying to get stamina for my tour, so I lost a bit of weight," she said in an interview with Vogue for their March 2016 cover. "Now I fit into normal, off-the-shelf clothes."

Additionally, she shares that she developed a bit of a shopping addiction and that it's become a "big problem" for her.

"I like myself more than ever," she explained. "I feel so comfortable in my own skin. I really like how I look, I like who I am, I like everyone that I surround myself with. Obviously, I have insecurities but they don't hold me back."

According to Latinos Health, it is not known how much weight the singer has lost but it looks to be around 50 pounds, judging by her before and after photos.

Her weight loss was because of a vegetarian diet to which she was inspired to adapt in 2013 because of her fiance Simon Konecki, Celebrity Health Fitness reports. Additionally, the mother-of-one stopped smoking, lessened alcohol and sugar intake.

"I used to drink 10 cups a day with two sugars in each, so I was on 20 [spoons of] sugars a day," she said. "Now I don't drink it and I have more energy than ever."

She also regularly exercises even though she admits to hating it.

"I'm not, like, skipping to the f*cken gym," she shared. "I don't enjoy it. I do like doing weights."

Many fans noticed Adele's dramatic weight loss and took to Twitter to comment on the singer's physique along with her performance of "All I Ask" during the weekend event, International Business Times reports.

There were issues with the audio during the singer's performance. According to Business Insider, when Adele started performing "All I Ask" from her new album "25," the sound during the first verse repeatedly went off for a few seconds. There were also complaints of a strange guitar sound throughout the number, which reportedly made the singer flat.

Many expressed their disappointment on social media as there were many anticipating for her performance. Adele herself posted on Twitter explaining that the piano mics, which fell on the piano strings, made the "guitar sound."
