No official word has been leaked about Michael Weatherly's much anticipated "NCIS" exit, but viewers are now more convinced than ever that pretty much anything can happen in the series of this 13th season.

"We're really trying to give everybody something that leaves them satisfied," said series show-runner Gary Glasberg, adding that it's viewed as such a major occurrence by show creators it's something he's now been working on for at least six months.

Joining Mark Harmon (Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs) Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto) and David McCallum (Ducky Mallard) as one of only four remaining original cast members on the longrunning, most popular drama series on TV, the question of what can be considered a proper sendoff for Weatherly's Agent Tony DiNozzo character has sparked much debate among viewers.

Poll Shows Fans Want DiNozzo With Agent David

A recent TV Line poll found that 28 percent of fans prefer seeing him ride off into the sunset with Cote de Pablo's former Agent Ziva David character, compared to 22 percent who want to see him leave D.C. to head up his own NCIS team in another location.

"You can't have Tony leave the show and not get into that in some respect," Glasberg said of the Agent David situation. "So, plan on it being discussed and handled, even if it's in background."

Robert Wagner Back as Tony DiNozzo Sr.

Something else viewers can bank on is the return of Robert Wagner as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. He is slated to appear in the March 22, "Reasonable Doubts" themed episode, where he learns he could have a long, lost daughter.

In the series' upcoming 300th episode set to air on March 15,  guest-star Taye Diggs appears as PTSD suffering Marine Sergeant Aaron Davis. As part of his recovery in the "Scope" entitled episode, Diggs' character is put through a tedious music therapy program that Gibbs is hoping will trigger his memory and aid the crew in solving the details of an open murder investigation.
