Word on the real score of the state of fallen F1 racing legend Michael Schumacher continues to be at a minimum with the family’s wish to keep the actual progress confined to a limited few.

Spokesperson Sabine Kehm had previously come out to shoot down spreading rumors that Schumacher was starting to walk on his own. Kehm made it clear that she is the one who poses as a credible source and that the alleged rumors are false.

Schumacher continues to try and recover from the fatal skiing mishap at his Lake Geneva home where he is surrounded only by close family members and select medical personnel.

While there have been certain personalities such as Mercedes chairman Nikki Lauda and FIA president Jean Todt who have gone to visit the fallen racer, the only thing that they can bare is not to lose hope.

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo was another personality that visited Schumacher though summed it all by saying that Schumi’s state was ‘not good’.

Schumacher Wanted to Get Away From it All

Schumacher is undoubtedly one of the top names in the world today and it may have reached a point where the F1 legend wanted out of the limelight.

Kehm revealed that prior to the dreaded accident, Schumacher had secretly told her of wanting to ‘disappear’. Though the wish seems to be a bit vague, it does, however, justify why the family of Schumi wants added privacy as the Michael tries to recover from it all.

Mercedes Chairman Stands for True Fans of Schumi

Though health updates on Schumacher are in play, there is, at least, one person who hopes to get more credible updates for the fallen racer.

Lauda says that while he understands the request for privacy, he bats that ‘true’ fans of Schumacher deserve to know his real condition. He adds that such could also prevent false rumors from gaining ground.

Though his point seems to be understandable, it is unlikely that the Schumachers will change or soften their stand.

Remembering Jules Bianchi

The bright thing right now is that Schumacher continues his fight and such leaves a glimmer of hope. It calls to mind a previous mishap involving another driver in Jules Bianchi.

Bianchi suffered a fatal crash back in 2014 where he sustained severe head injuries. He fought until the very end before passing away in July, 2015.

With the limited but seemingly positive updates from Kehm, it could be a positive sign to consider. Schumacher’s recovery is at a snail’s pace but the fact remains that he is still hanging tough and fighting.
