Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi took to her website Thursday to post an exclusive video in which she revealed the sex of the new baby she and fiancé Jionni LaValle are expecting in early Fall.

"I am so excited to find out what gender my second baby is going to be!!" Polizzi posted on her site just below the video. "Jionni already knows what it is, so to surprise me and Lorenzo, he put balloons in a box for us to open up!"

"Watch the video to find out if we're having a little boy or girl!!!"

In the video, 26-year-old Polizzi appears in a simple black tank top, holding 20-month-old son Lorenzo in her arms. Polizzi explained that her fiancé, who already knows their second baby's gender, was going to expose the secret with a bunch of gender-themed ballons.

The mama-to-be then opened up the balloon box with a gasp as bunches of balloons in all shades of pink floated up in the air.

Polizzi's initial response: "Oh my goodness! We're having a girl! Yay! Oh God, kill me, we're having a girl."

She went on to try to communicate to little Lorenzo that he was going to become a big brother and would soon have his very own baby sister. He looked on in a mildly disinterested manner as Polizzi herself seemed to grapple with mustering her own enthusiasm for the camera.

"Well there you have it we are having a little girl and I don't know how I feel about it," Polizzi said as she brought the video to a close. "I'm terrified, but really, really excited."

According to a report from Headlines & Global News, Polizzi first announced her second pregnancy in April and told reporters that she and LaValle had been trying for another child since last November.

In an interview with Extra last month, Polizzi revealed that while she and LaValle would be happy with either a baby girl or boy, although her hopes were pinned on a little brother for Lorenzo.

"Everybody in our family has a boy and then a girl, or a girl and a boy, so we want two boys to switch it up and make it different," she said. "Plus I'm not ready to have a miniature me. I don't need a diva telling me what to do. I'm not ready for that."

ABC News reports that the new baby girl will have her own little brothers and sisters too, "for sure," according to the former "Jersey Shore" cast member. Polizzi says she definitely has her heart set on giving Lorenzo a brother to play with.

"Obviously we are extremely excited and happy to have a girl," Polizzi told ABC News. "But this isn't our last!"
