Martina Stoessel, who stars in the Disney Channel Latin America's "Violetta," has a lot on her plate for someone who isn't even 18 years old.

At her recent free concert in Argentina, she was criticized on Twitter about her singing and even her outfits. She is now having to deny anorexia rumors started by a website, and her parents and Disney assure that they will take the matter to court.

"They've called me ‘flamingo legs' ever since I was little," she said. "I'm always eating, and my friends tell me they can't believe I don't get fat. But it's because that's how it is. It comes from my family. It's genetic."

It was her recent concert that started the rumors. PrimiciasYa.com said that the 17-year-old singer and actress was facing "serious problems because of anorexia." The site added that Stoessel was also going to a psychologist.

"I have no psychologist," she said. "I found out that I have one through a story. Really, it's a shame that there are people who exist who just want to invent things to worry family, friends and fans. It's all a lie because I've always been skinny. My brother is the same. My mother is the same."

Her mother, Mariana Stoessel, said the whole situation is bullying.

"It seems to me that this is media bullying against Martina," she said. "She is a minor, and these people will have to answer the claims they've made. They'll have to say who Martina's alleged psychologist is because she's never gone to a psychologist. She's never gone to therapy, and she doesn't have any problems with food."

Martina's father, Alejandro Stoessel, said they have passed on all the information to their legal team. He added that these lies cannot continue and that there needs to be respect for those who are actually anorexic.

"My biggest worry with Martina's career is the media," he said.
