Microsoft kicked off by making big announcements related to the forthcoming Windows 10 Creator Update, Surface Studio all-in-one PC, new Surface Book i7, and "Beam"-game streaming for Windows 10 and Xbox. Along with all this, they unveiled a new feature called the "Windows Capture 3D," which can capture 3D images of objects using the regular camera on any device.

One of the biggest part of the Windows 10 Creator Update is sharing content. Reports from Tech Crunch note that Windows Capture 3D will be released in Spring 2017 as a free upgrade, and they'll be building around around the company's aggressive push into augmented and virtual reality, with a slate of 3D-focused tools.

In order to get the 3D content, a new smartphone app  will be released soon by Microsoft on Windows 10 mobile, iOs and Android where users can take photos of real item and change them into 3D objects virtually, said Bgr.

Along with all this exciting feature, the users can also use their 3D to capture with Microsoft's new Paint 3D app that's launching by next year. The users can also view the 3D captures with Microsoft's augmented reality headset called HoloLens. It can also be used for more than just mundane but also key functionality, like interior decorating.

With the Windows 3D Capture, users can now enjoy the experience by capturing images anywhere they like without having the need to tethered to any larger devices. Through just a few scans on a Windows Phone - and on other smartphones soon as well, users can capture 3D objects and edit them as they please.

There's a lot of excitement from the users who are waiting on the release of the 3D capture experience, but until it's release, it unclear whether it will be an app and on which platforms it's going to be available.
