Disney is now ready to make another version of its classic fairytale 'Snow White' into a new live-action movie and musical that will expand upon the music and story from the animated 'Snow White and the seven dwarfs.' Erin Cressida Wilson reportedly in negotiations to write the script of the upcoming film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, songwriters Justin Paul recently wrote the lyrics for the movie 'La La Land' and Benj Pasek is reported to write the new songs for the movie. Marc Platt will be producing the movie, who is also working for Disney's upcoming "Mary Poppins Returns," "Grease Live" in Fox Tv, and the musical "Wicked" and "La La Land."

The original "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" first released in 1937 as Disney's first feature animated film, featuring the voices of Adriana Caselotti as Snow White, Lucille La Verne as Queen/Witch, Stuart Buchanan as the Huntsman, Roy Atwell as Doc, Moroni Olsen as Magic Mirror, Pinto Colvig Sleepy/Grumpy, Harry Stockwell as Prince, Eddie Collins as Dopey, Scotty Mattraw as Bashful, Otis Harlan as Happy, and Billy Gilbert as Sneezy.

It was one of the most successful animated films of all time as it has won an Oscars at the 11th Academy Award. Over the years, there has been a lot of adaptations and attempts to relive the classic tale, the Tv series "Once Upon a Time," Kristen Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsmen," the recent film "Mirror Mirror", of Lily Collins and Julia Roberts, Kristen Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsmen," according to Variety.

Disney's "Snow White" is joining the long list of remakes of its classic animated films following the success of Disney's previously released Cinderella, Pete's Dragon, The Jungle Book, nex year's Beauty and the Beast, and the upcoming Mulan, Dumbo, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Alladin.

There are no actors or directors yet to the new "Snow White" project.
