Cubs players got their epic victory in an epic game Wednesday night in Cleveland. After generations of heartbreak and futility, everyone can't contain their happiness as Chicago Cubs finally won a World series. The Cubs break their 108-year championship drought with 8-7 in an incredible 10 inning marathon triumph over game 7.

The Cleveland Indians rallied with three runs in the 8th inning that include two-strike, two-out, two-run of a home run by Rajai Davis off closer to Aroldis Chapman - and Cubs found a way out to beat the mistake of past playoffs. Following the 9th inning, Cubs pushed two runs on a double by Ben Zobrist across 10th inning and a single by Miguel Montero as New York Times has reported.

The Cubs players and fans need to hold their breath at the bottom of the inning when Davis hit a run-scoring single and pull Indians to run behind. Carl Edwards was replaced by Mike Montgomery and got Michael Martinez to hit a slow roller into the infield and Kris Bryant lifts it up and threw across to the first baseman Anthony Rizzo.

And as the ball made its ways across the diamond, everyone went silent only until the ball settled into Rizzo's gloves and everyone went wild, huge fans of Cubs vented as players come running into the middle of the infield and celebrated. Thousands of fans moved into the field level waving the W flags and singing "Go Cubs Go," the victory anthem and roaring Rizzo lifted up the ball he had caught in the final according to NBC.

Finally, the Billy Goat curse is dead. It has begun 1945 when the owner of the tavern, William "Billy Goat" Sainis bought 2 tickets to Game 4 of the Cubs' World Series game against Detroit Tigers: one for Murphy, tavern's billy goat mascot and one for himself. But Murphy smelled so bad that the other audience complained and Billy goat and his billy goat got evicted. Sainis allegedly declared "Them Cubs, they ain't gonna win no more!" and that's how it all started. The sufferings and heartbreaks are paid off after generations and have a historic championship for Chicago Cubs.
