The upcoming movie adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" has given stars Victor Rasuk and Rita Ora new kinds of fame.

Best known for his roles in HBO's "How to Make it in America," 2005's "Lords of Dogtown," and the recently-released "Godzilla," Rasuk plays José Rodriguez, a photographer who dreams of making Kodak moments with Anastasia Steele (played by Dakota Johnson) in the movie. In a recent interview with Latin Post's Melissa Castellanos, Rasuk explained his confidence in the movie adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling book.

"We came creatively into it and wanted to do it justice," he told Latin Post. "And I can speak for myself personally, that from what I saw and what I experienced doing this movie, I think all the fans, the millions of fans, will also love what we did. We absolutely did it justice."

Rasuk said he can identify with the erotic novel.

"When I got the role and read the book, I said 'I know what the craze is,'" he told Fox News Latino, adding that he had to beat out a pile of other Latino actors all going for "the same role." "It allows you to see different sides of what men go through. I think a lot of men can relate to it, not just women."

Meanwhile, Ora, whose only other acting role was an uncredited part as a racer in "Fast & Furious 6," is adjusting to this new kind of fame.

"I'm still coming to terms with the fact that I'm surrounded by the whole hype around it," Ora told E! News at Cannes Film Festival.

Ora plays Mia Grey, the sister of Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan), in the highly anticipated movie.

"It's going to be such an amazing feeling when it does come out," she continued. "I'm just honestly sitting back before the storm hits. I just can't wait -- you know what I mean?"

"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
