Google is always up to unveil something new for easing the technical needs. Now it has taken the initiative to drive iOS users to Google platforms for their essential works. Mobile platform switching is regarded by many as a tough task. But the new inclusion of Google drive on iOS will surely make it easier.

According to The Verge,  this new addition made by Google will allow the users of Apple devices to store and save their important data, to do list, pictures, calendar, contacts, tasks etc. on the superlative cloud network of Google Drive App on iOS platforms. The new option is found in the settings menu under "backup."

As per 9 to 5 Mac, the latest version of Google Drive App makes storage functionality much easier and it's built-in stuff make transferring of data and essentials more comprehensive. It follows a simple three step process, primarily, a to avail the support a user of iOS device needs to download Google Drive from the App Store.

Then he/she needs to sign in with the primary Google account using any other Android device. In the next and last step, the user will require to go to his/her Google Drive app's  main surface  and then go to Menu > Settings > Backup to start the process of backing up all the important data. 

However, before starting the process of backup, users require ensuring a reliable and flawless data or Wi-fi connection. A sudden stop may impact and interrupt the whole process. Users also need to switch off the iMessage App on their iOS-equipped device before beginning the process.

Apple authorities have also stated that the transferring process may take some hours.This depends on the strength of the connection. Therefore, whenever beginning the back process, one must have a good amount of time in his/her hands before the whole thing ends.
