Falcom's "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" is due to be released in Japan in Fall 2017. The game is set to be PlayStation 4 exclusive and will feature the final chapter to the Erebonian arc in the popular gaming series.

According to Siliconera, "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" will mark the return of Rean Schwarzer as the protagonist of the trilogy. The story of "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" will begin after the events of the civil war in the Erebonian Empire that happened in the second game. He will also be joined by the heiress of the Reinford group, a slightly older-looking Alisa Reinford.

Schwarzer together with his friends are expected to once again go through adventures and dangers in the latest game.

The released screenshots of "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" looks promising as it reveals high-quality graphics that will surely delight fans of the series. The game is expected to have upgraded gameplay and easier controls when it comes to navigating the game.

"The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" features improvements graphic wise as it will be released for the PS4. While the previous "Trails of Cold Steel" titles were released in both the PS3 and PS Vita, there is no word yet if Falcom's latest installment will have a PS Vita release.

Furthermore, there is no word yet if "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" will have an English release. However, Twinfinite reported that with XSEED Games, non-Japanese fans of the game may get an English patch of the game in the next year.
