On Friday, "Glee" actress Lea Michele addressed the incessant rumors that she has been in the midst of a catty fight with her co-star Naya Rivera.

Michele, who plays Rachel Berry on the show, finally talked about the gossip on Friday's "Late Show With David Letterman."

"It's really unbelievable the amount of things that can just be completely made up, and it's really frustrating," Michele told Letterman.

Indeed, the reports have been intense with some going as far as to report that Rivera is jealous of Michele getting the spotlight and doesn't like her attitude. According to Michele, the stories are "really unfortunate."

"I think that the way people like to pit women against each other, not to get so, so serious, but it's really annoying, and it's really sad," the 27-year-old said.

In addition, some sources have claimed that Rivera was fired and will not appear in season six, the show' last. Fox, however, denies this.

Michele added that if she was truly getting into beef on the "Glee" set, it'd be much more interesting than the rumors coming from the grapevine.

"For me if there were ever really a cat fight on the show, you'd know about it because I'd get like a ring and put Jell-O in it, and I'd make it fun for everyone. And it'd be super hot," she told Letterman.

Last week, Ryan Murphy, "Glee" creator, talked about the reports as well.

"I don't think there is a story between Naya and Lea," he said. "I always marvel at the things that become headline news that most of the time are completely fabricated."

Murphy also confirmed that both Rivera and Michele are "coming back next year."

"Anybody ever in that cast has an open invitation to come back and finish the character they so beautifully started," he said.

Season six of "Glee" will have a midseason premiere on Fox.
