After three days of dominant golfing at Firestone, the world's no.1 golfer Tiger Woods is on the verge of another emphatic victory at the popular golf course. Taking a seven-stroke lead into Sunday's championship round, the world's no.1 golfer might be way ahead of the competition, but that won't stop him from raising his game to another level.

Woods did shoot a 2-under 68 in the third round to preserve that huge seven-stroke lead. Yet, Woods sounded far from satisfied by Saturday's result.

"You know, today was a day that I didn't quite have it. But I scored. And that's the name of the game, posting a number, and I did today. I grinded my way around that golf course," Woods told reporters via ESPN right after his round.

Woods hasn't won a Bridgestone Invitational title since 2009. And now with a huge lead in the fourth round, he wants his latest victory to be one for all the ages.

A victory on Sunday will give Woods his eight championship at Firestone Country Club, matching the golfer's PGA Tour record at Bay Hill and the eight titles golfing legend Sam Snead bagged at the Greensboro Open. He could also win his 79th career title to move him three crowns away from tying Snead's record of 83 in the all-time PGA Tour list.

"I'll just go out there and execute my game plan. It all starts with what the weather is doing, and then I build it from there. We'll see what I do tomorrow," said Woods, who's scheduled to tee off at 2:05 p.m EDT.

Meanwhile, Henrik Stenson (8-under) and Jason Dufner (7-under) will try to close the gap and hope Woods will have a major collapse on Sunday. Other than that, it seems that the rest of the playing field has already accepted their fate -- and that's a solid second place finish behind the runaway winner.
