"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 is going strong in terms of household and viewership ratings this week. However, cast member Alex O'Loughlin will exit the show after season 8. Despite that, the official plot description of the episode finale "Puka 'ana" is here.

"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 preliminary ratings all carried through to the finals last Friday', February 17, 2017.  The series had a tie breaker with "Shark Tank" (1.3 each). TV By The Numbers reports that the police procedurial themed show has garnered 1.3 household ratings and 9.86 viewers in the 18-49 demographic tuning every week.

As for the demographic, "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 is averaging approximately the same numbers that they got in Season 5. The current season is also the most-watched since Season 4.

According to Collider, series regular Alex O'Loughlin will no longer be a part of "Hawaii Five-0" after Season 8. who plays Steve and is popular for being the other half of the McDanno bromance.

The Australian actor said that he loved the show but it was taking a physical toll on him. Revealing his state-of-mind, Alex said that he was not sure if he could give as much as he could beyond eight seasons.
