Telltale Games is gearing up to release "Guardians of the Galaxy" Episode 1 titled "Tangled Up in Blue" starting April 18. The first episode out of five will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The game will also be available for mobile users including iOS and Android. Telltale Games' upcoming title will retail for about $5. IGN reports that "Guardians of the Galaxy" Episode 1 will also have a season pass which can be availed starting May 2 in the US and May 5 for the rest of the world.

Those who will pre-order Telltale Games' "Guardians of the Galaxy" series will be able to receive a theme for the PS4. The game can also be preordered at selected retailers in the US.

A cover of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" Episode 1 was released and it revealed that Groot in the game will be back to how he is before the events in the first movie. Furthermore, Telltale Games announced that Thanos will be one of the antagonists of the game.

According to CBR, "Guardians of the Galaxy" Episode 1 will herald the adventures of Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket and Groot. Telltale Games' title will bank on the player's decision-making skills as every move could result in different endings.

The outlet adds that the Guardians will go on a quest to acquire a powerful relic and they will go head to head with an enemy who seeks the same artifact. "Guardians of the Galaxy" Episode 1 will likely be an introduction of the whole series which will keep players on their toes for the next one. Additionally, a new trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be out on March 30, 9 AM PT.
