The distinct beauty of Latinas makes them very special in this world. There are many articles written by non-hispanics about how to win the heart of a Latina, but those are mostly bogus because they don't usually know the Latino culture.

So we've compiled a short list of guidelines that should help you with your love life.

First, no Latina would like to hear anyone calling her spicy or any other adjective that is associated with food. It is very annoying to hear that non-Latinos only want to date a Latina in the hopes of having a fiery and curvaceous woman in their lives.

According to an article published in HIPLATINA, here are some points that you have to remember to win the heart of your Hispanic beauty:

1. Get to know the big family

Latino culture in general, is family-oriented. If you want to impress the Latina that you are dating then you have to make sure that you value family. Every time there are occasions especially during Noche Buena, you have to expect to kiss more than 50 people on cheeks as a sign of respect. Remember, that Latino culture is usually composed of a big family. Before I forget, try to remember their names, because you might meet some of them across the street and one of the ways to impress the Latina you are dating is for you to recognize her family members while out in public. It shows you're interested.

2. Hire Mariachis for Birthdays

Latinos way of celebrating birthdays is different from other cultures. If you are used to having breakfast in bed during your birthday with some surprises then that is good. However, for Latinos, having a small group of Mariachis during birthdays playing some Mexican folk music while dressed in native costumes will impress for sure. Culture is very important to them. So hire Mariachis during her birthday. But first, of course, make sure she's in to those type of things. There's nothing worse than assuming.

3. Make an effort to learn their language

First, not all Latinos speak fluent Spanish. Some speak Portuguese, while others speak only English. The language of Latinos varies depending on where they are from or where they grew up. But you have to remember to ask what language they are using. It would be very impressive if you show some effort in learning their native language. After all, they know yours. You always have to remember that not all members of their family speak fluent English. So if you make an effort in learning their language and use it as a means of communication with her family members then that is mucho impressive. One of the best ways to win over the heart of a Latina is to love their language.

4. Take them to a Frida Kahlo Exhibition

Just mention the name Frida Kahlo and most would definitely love to discuss her works. Do some research about the works of Frida Kahlo and share some of your positive insights about Kahlo's works of art. The best thing that you can do is take them to a Frida Kahlo Exhibition. By the way, tickets for the Frida Kahlo Exhibit 2020 are now on sale.

5. Don't assume they are all the same

It does not necessarily mean that since most Latinos share the same culture, language, and history of colonialism then they are the same. Latin America is very big. You have to make an effort of knowing the Latina that you are dating, her family, their tradition and culture, their language, and her favorite food. Make her feel loved by showing effort towards learning and respecting her culture.

6. Respect their cuisine

If you are dating a Latina and you find yourself in a Mexican restaurant or in a well-known restaurant managed by a person from Latin America, do not assume that the food you order is the food that she likes. You have to ask first what food she likes to eat so that you will know where to go or where to set your date.

7. Never tell a Latina that her family is "too loud"

Never tell a Latina that you are dating that her family is too loud. You might assume that they are yelling but nope they are not especially when they call their tia or tio. They just speak like that because it has been their culture. But again, they are not yelling. That is just what the tone of their language sounds like.

If you love the Latina that you are dating then you have to embrace these 7 facts about them. You have to know them more personally not just by name, but their culture and traditions as well.

To put it plain and simple, get to know your girlfriend, appreciate her differences, and most of all respect her. If you can do those three things, you'll win the heart of any woman.
