President Donald Trump and his administration already said that they would be issuing a series of executive actions after the Senate's Republican-led stimulus package failed. The executive actions aim to help the heavily impacted Americans in the country.

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said on Wednesday that Pres. Trump's health care plan is ready, and it will be issued through an executive action with a legislative component. He also said that the plan is to release it before the upcoming election.

Meadows said, "I think if we look at legislation, nothing gets done in Congress. They can't even agree on the corona issue. Part of the delay is we had to look at legislative parts, and we had to put it in this box, then we had to figure out what to do administratively. We had to get creative with executive powers."

The White House Chief of Staff also said that they are making some modifications and tweak in the executive and Pres. Trump wants to make sure that the executive action will be released before the election. The announcement was made after Trump ordered to cut off the prices of drugs.

Moreover, Meadows is also optimistic that Congress will have bipartisan support on the health care agreement most especially that there is a growing tension this time within the rank of Democrats. Several members of Democrats in the House are now pressuring Pelosi to act on a new relief bill.

It can be remembered that Pres. Trump has promised to unveil his health care plan by the end of August. However, Pres. Trump could not disclose the health care plan, but a month after or in July, he signed a series of executive orders that aim to lower the costs of prescription drugs.

According to a published report in Fox News, the orders would allow medications to be imported from other countries. It would deliver rebates from drug companies directly to patients and bypass pharmacy benefit managers and other "middlemen" to directly deliver prescription drugs to patients.

It can also be recalled that one of the political platforms of Pres. Trump in 2016 is to overturn the Affordable Care Act, which provides health insurance to those who cannot afford it, but the Democratic-dominated Congress failed to deliver the program.

This is just one of the executive actions that Pres. Trump is issuing after the targeted bill failed to pass in the Senate. However, Trump is now looking for ways to divert some federal funds to give financial aids to millions of Americans.

With the tension going on in the Congress and the emerging division of the Congress, it is possible that either a new stimulus will be approved or Pelosi will be pressured to accept a new bill that has bipartisan support.
