The November 3 or the Presidential election is just around the nook. However, this indicates the window is ultimately for Republicans and Democrats to find common ground on a second stimulus package deal.

There are about 11 million people out of work due to the coronavirus pandemic. The members of the House of Representatives has said it would increase its consultation until a deal is reached.

The Senate is scheduled to interrupt until after the election following its contemporary session, which ends up on October 9. However, that does not suggest it is the very last day a bill could be passed. The house is prepared to postpone its next break which is initially scheduled on Oct. 2 until a deal is reached.

Sen. Majority leader Mitch McConnell could compel the Senate if the top negotiators for the second stimulus package wanted to reach a deal. The senate could stay in session or come back early to vote for the relief aids that include a second stimulus check.

According to the U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, the Internal Revenue Service could start sending the stimulus checks before the election. This will only happen if a new bill would be passed on the third week of October. Pres. Trump wants the stimulus check to send immediately within one week after his approval.

Meanwhile, as Pres. Trump shows more interest in giving more stimulus aids and another round of stimulus checks, the White House has also hinted that it could go up to $1.5 trillion. On the other hand, the Democrats decided also to lower the amount of their proposed stimulus from $3 trillion to $2.2. trillion. This just means that there is a progress of the stimulus talks as the days go by.

After the Democratic House Speaker received pressures from her party to act as soon as possible for a new stimulus package, she said that a bill could still be pushed before this month ends. In fact, her party will introduce and unveil a new bill on Monday.

Pelosi said "I'm optimistic. I do think that we should have an agreement. That's what we all want," Moreover, if the Senate passes the bill at the end of September, the House will have until October 1 to agree on it and the President will sign it as early as October 2.

According to United States Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin, if these dates will be followed the Internal Revenue Service will be in the right position to start sending the stimulus checks on the week ending Oct.12 or two weeks before the election.

The only thing that hampers the passage of a new stimulus package in Congress is Pelosi's belief that this could help boost Pres. Trump's campaign. However, her party members who are facing a tight race in their hometown are also afraid that voters will penalize them if Pelosi will not act on the second relief aid.
