Not all teenagers have normal legs length. This Texan teenager's legs make up 60 percent of her entire length!

Maci Currin, 6-foot-10, has her leg in the door and her name in the book as well. This 17-year-old from Cedar Park, Texas, broke Two Guinness World Records. One for having the longest legs for a woman and one for a teenager with the longest legs.

According to Guinness, her left leg is about 53 inches tall, while her right leg is marginally shorter, at 52,874 inches.

Russia's Ekaterina Lisina previously had the Guinness World Record for the longest legs for females. The two legs of Lisina are four feet three inches tall. She's standing at a staggering height of six feet nine inches.

Taller than other kids

Currin's mother noted in a video shared on the group's YouTube page that her daughter was taller than her classmates at an early age.

"I guess there's some gene in there that gives her that tallness," her mother said.

Currin comes from a tall family. However, she is considerably taller than her 6-foot, 5-inch father and 5-foot, 7-inch mother.

The teen assured Guinness that she had never had a growth spurt. But she developed around four or five inches every year.

Having long legs isn't easy

Spending a life up in the clouds due to her long limbs is not always a fantasy. Currin told Newsflare that she struck her head with many things.

Since her legs are too big for cars, she said she couldn't even get into certain vehicles. "Cars are really difficult," she added.

Clothing is a constant problem, as well. Pants and leggings, Currin said, needed to be custom-made. For her, special occasions are also an added challenge.

Nothing will fit Currin if she walks into a regular clothing store because they don't really make clothes in her size. Her mother, Trish, said they had to "really plan ahead," mainly because they were dealing with their height

Bullied with height? No problem

Her mother said her daughter had constant stares to deal with. Currin had to contend with teasing while growing up in the Austin neighborhood of Cedar Park. Currin told Guinness she is being bullied for being taller than everyone.

"Around sophomore year, I just stopped caring what people thought of me," Currin told Guinness. "I wasn't affected by anything," she added.

To motivate people to support their height, Currin now uses her social media. She frequently blogs on trust and body image, with 1.7 million followers on TikTok, and another 50,000 on Instagram. On TikTok, her videos reach millions of viewers per video.

Currin encouraged other tall women to embrace their heights as a gift. She added that other women shouldn't be ashamed that they're tall.

"You don't fit into the category of 'normal,'" Currin told Guinness. "You're unique, you have something different, and people are drawn to it."

The teenager's plan is yet another thing. She plans to go to college in the United Kingdom with the hope of getting the record for being the world's tallest professional model.
