President Donald Trump's campaign has filed a legal measure at the Supreme Court on Sunday to challenge President-elect Joe Biden's win in the state of Pennsylvania.

In the filed petition, the Trump campaign asked the high court justices to to overturn three Pennsylvania Supreme Court decisions, which they believe could change the election results, as CNBC reported.

The petition case was filed about seven weeks after Election Day and just a month before Biden is scheduled to be inaugurated in January.

Trump still refused to concede even as judges across the country have rejected his camp's unsupported claims of fraud.

The challenge follows the lead of the case brought by Texas, which the justices did not hear earlier this month.

All nine justices implied at the time that they do not support Texas' central arguments.

Trump lost the state of Pennsylvania by more than 80,000 votes, according to a Business Insider report.

The Trump campaign is currently asking the Supreme Court to overthrow over 110,000 mail-in ballots.

Election in Pennsylvania

Before the presidential election in November, Pennsylvania's highest court released a unanimous decision that mail-in votes should not be rejected only because a signature on the ballot looked different than the one on file.

That ruling was part of Trump's most recent litigation, as reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer. The campaign claims that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court violated the Constitution by taking the state legislature's power to determine how federal elections run.

The Trump campaign also alleged that the state court violated the Constitution's due process clause.

"Collectively, these three decisions resulted in counting approximately 2.6 million mail ballots in violation of the law as enacted by the Pennsylvania Legislature," Trump campaign's petition to Supreme Court said, as quoted in the The Philadelphia Inquirer report.

Meanwhile, Biden would still be the winner even without the Pennsylvania votes due to his wide margin of victory in the Electoral College, as reported by The Associated Press.

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said the petition seeks all the right remedies, which includes vacating the appointment of electors committed to Biden and allowing the Pennsylvania General Assembly to select their replacements.

Giuliani was asking the court to act swiftly to rule ahead of Congress' tallying of Electoral College votes on Jan. 6.

Electoral College Confirms Biden's Win

Last week, the 538 members of the Electoral College cast their ballots, which confirms Biden's won over Trump during the election.

With this, Biden said that democracy prevailed in the battle for the soul of America. He noted that this is now the time to "turn the page, to unite, and to heal.

Biden added that his 306-232 margin in the Electoral College was the same as Trump during his 2016 victory, as per the Reuters report.

The president-elect also cited the Trump campaign's dozens of legal challenges without success, including the Texas lawsuit that asked the Supreme Court to invalidate results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The high court rejected the bid last week.
