It has recently been reported that, while One Direction's Harry Styles has given up sex as part of his new religion Kabbalah, his bandmate Niall Horan has found a new love interest, Irish model Thalia Heffernan.

Styles was seen wearing the red Kabbalah bracelet onstage just last weekend, and he was apparently persuaded to abstain from sex for six months to purify himself, being promised a "new level of sexual experience" after.

"Harry is really serious about this. He feels he doesn't want to be that guy who is known for bedding celebs anymore," the source said to Daily Star. "But in the past all his intentions to quit sex have fallen by the wayside. He feels it's getting in the way of him having a proper, meaningful relationship, and Kabbalah is giving him the discipline to finally quit sex for a sustained period."

A couple of Harry's close friends in L.A. introduced him to the teachings and ways of the religion and he has been practicing it for a month now," the source said. "It's very disciplined and one of the big things he's being helped with is 'cleansing himself' by abstaining from sex. The idea is that after a few weeks of it you become far more in touch with your spiritual side and ultimately when you do return to sex it is more meaningful."

Meanwhile, Horan, who reportedly kissed Heffernan when he returned to Ireland last month, apparently tries to keep in touch with the 19-year-old beauty despite their busy schedules.

"Thalia is a really gorgeous girl inside and out. Niall is pretty taken with her. They are still in touch and get on really well," a source told The Sun newspaper. "Niall's never in one place for long and Thalia travels the world modeling, so it will be a case of whenever they can manage it."

Thalia Heffernan told Irish Mirror, "There has been a lot of interest and I am going to try it out and see how it goes. I have just booked my flights for June 23. I am going on my own so it will be tough but I am very excited. There is so much work at the moment, it is amazing. I've just been so busy."
