What Happened to Lady Gaga's Dog Walker, Ryan Fischer?

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a male suspect shot Lady Gaga's dog walker, identified as Ryan Fischer, and stole two of her three French bulldogs - Gustav and Koji.

Cnet reported that the third dog named Miss Asia was not stolen. According to the police, the incident happened in Hollywood at around 9:40 p.m. Authorities further noted that the suspect used a semiautomatic handgun and immediately fled the scene after shooting Ryan Fischer and taking Lady Gaga's two dogs.

Fox News reported that Los Angeles Police Department Public Information Officer Jeff Lee confirmed that a 30-year-old male was shot just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday. Reports said Ryan Fischer put up a fight and tried to take back Lady Gaga's dogs as he screamed for help.

"No! Help me!" screamed Fischer as he wrestled with the suspects to get the dogs back and before the gun was fired.

When Ryan Fischer refused to give the dogs, one of his attackers fired a single shot, striking him in the chest and leaving him splayed out on the sidewalk. The two men then grabbed Lady Gaga's two dogs as the third dog was able to get away.

"Help me, I've been shot. I've been shot. Oh my god," Fischer screamed. Fox News noted that Ryan Fischer is "a friend" of Lady Gaga's family. A resident can be heard saying he was calling 911, and some good people rushed to Ryan Fischer's aid.

Why Was Lady Gaga's French Bulldogs Were Stolen?

According to Slate, Lady Gaga's French bulldogs are not the first to get stolen in the past weeks. The report said the possible motivation that drives the thieves is reselling the dogs for money. French Bulldogs are very expensive to breed caused by testing, artificial insemination, and C-sections birth as their big heads most of the time get stuck in the birth canal.

Cnet reported that the French bulldogs' puppies could be sold from $1,500 to $3,000, and they can sell for far more. The report noted that in November, two French bulldogs were also stolen in the backyard of a residence in Daly City, south of San Francisco. Last month, a San Francisco woman also reported having her six-month-old French bulldog stolen after being violently assaulted.

Sandy Briley from Francoeur Frenchies told the Slate that depending on the dog's color and DNA, a puppy, can sell for up to $12,500. Briley noted that a stolen puppy, without the American Kennel Club's paperwork, can sell for up to $2,000.

The whereabouts of Lady Gaga's stolen dogs are still unknown. Lady Gaga, who made "Born this way" and "Applause" famous, offers a $500,000 reward for the return of Gustav and Koji, no questions asked.

According to a police statement, Ryan Fischer, who was rushed to a hospital after being shot, is in stable condition as of Thursday evening. Police had also described the two robbery suspects as between 25 and 20 years old.
