After authorities responded to a 911 call in a home in Largo City, Florida, officers are now investigating the homicide incident of two females inside a home in Largo.               

According to authorities, the Fire Rescue and the Police Department of the city of Largo responded at a house in the 1000 block, 8th Avenue NW at approximately 1:53 a.m. on Monday, April 26. At first, officials stated that they did not believe that there was an ongoing threat to the public. Later on, officials announced that a man was arrested linked to the emergency call.                   

According to Crime Online, officers of the Largo Police Department located an adult male at the doorstep of a home, in the vicinity, with traumatic injuries. The man was immediately transported to the Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. However, he also directed the police to a home a couple of doors down. Authorities discovered there the two bodies of females at around 2 a.m.               

The police identified the man as Sage Gayle Curry, 19, a Largo resident. It is believed that Curry was the subject that arrived at the doorstep of a nearby home.              

The police did not release the names or the ages of the victims in the incident, but their neighbors were shocked when they learned about the tragic incident.

Neighborhood Nightmare         

One among the neighbors of the two females, Jeffrey Williams, shared that he was shocked about the incident, and he did not expect that this could happen to both of them. Even another neighbor in the vicinity, Sarah Mulroy, thought it was so unexpected and crazy as she drives around the area all the time.            

Kyna Miller-Cole, another resident, was concerned about having tragic incidents like this in their neighborhood. She said she was also frightened seeing cop cars and flashing lights without knowing what was happening.     

In addition, Miller-Cole mentioned that she was saddened about losing a life, especially close to her home. She also added that the discovery did not only bring them sadness but also fear.       

As of writing, no additional information has been released by the authorities. Updates will be posted once it will be available. Officers with the Largo Police Department, together with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, will be conducting an additional investigation regarding the double murder discovery as the whole neighborhood has been alarmed, Patch reported.
