Senator Ted Cruz Mocks VP Kamala Harris Using "Monty Python" Clip Regarding Border Crisis

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris' staff, who was not identified, told New York Post that the vice president is focused on the "root causes" or the conditions in Central America that are forcing people to migrate from the region.

Unaccompanied migrant children continue to plunge into the U.S. borders. Recently, a five-year-old was reported left by smugglers at the border near El Paso, Texas. The child held a teddy bear as he screamed and pleaded with the smugglers not to abandon him.

Meanwhile, nearly 500 unaccompanied migrant children since December were placed under temporary care in Chicago-area shelters. Newsweek reported that the number of unaccompanied children is the highest since 2014. Most of the children were from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.
