The Brazilian wannabe superhero was unexpectedly hit by the vehicle on May 30 in the municipality of Barra dos Coqueiros when his stunt went wrong, Daily Mail reported.

Brazilian 'Superman' Stunt Gone Wrong

The Brazilian Superman's video has surfaced and gained traction on various social media sites. The premise of the video was that the Brazilian comedian would show off his strength by halting the moving vehicle with one hand.

However, the footage revealed that Andrade's stunt was an epic failure. Footage shows that Andrade stood in the middle of the road while holding his camera and microphone when suddenly the bus he was pretending to stop hit him.

Fortunately, the Brazilian comedian did not suffer any serious injuries. Following the collision, he was seen calmly walking down the road, away from the bus, and quipped, "Now I've seen I really am made of steel," Lad Bible reported.

He also said in another part of the video: "I'll make a complaint about this vehicle's brakes. They're not working."

The Brazilian Superman told F5 News the next day that rather than simply halting the bus with his hand, he miscalculated his distance and ended up being hit by the vehicle. He said the accident was his fault, and there was no problem with the vehicles' brakes, as he told in his video.

"I take responsibility for everything," said Andrade, adding that he went to the bus company so that the driver could not get in trouble for what he did.

The Brazilian Superman also said that "a miracle of God" took place at that time and protected him. Andrade further noted that he did not feel anything with the "knock."

"It wasn't serious because the hand of God was there," the Brazilian comedian said. Meanwhile, the bus company issued a statement and emphasized the importance of attention to traffic.
