Andrew Ashcroft, the former partner of Jasmine Hartin, had been arrested for public intoxication in 2019. He was reported to have forced the pilots to abandon takeoff at the time.

Cops at the time said the son of British billionaire Lord Michael Ashcroft was reeking of alcohol and could barely walk. He was asked by cops how many drinks he had, to which he replied "napping," according to the Daily Mail.

The British billionaire's son was arrested, but no further action seems to have been taken. The reported drunk incident will be presented during a custody hearing.

Andrew Ashcroft and Jasmine Hartin are currently fighting for the custody of their young twins. The two have already faced each other in court for the first time on Tuesday, July 20.

Hartin claimed that Andrew Ashcroft had blocked her from seeing her children since June 11 without any court order or lawful authorization. The socialite is currently facing charges for the death of a top Belize cop.

Custody Battle of Jasmine Hartin and Andrew Ashcroft

Jasmine Hartin has complained that her common partner for seven years had taken her children out of Belize without her permission.

The socialite had earlier publicly confronted Andrew Ashcroft over custody of their children. But she was slapped with new charges.

Her new attorney, Dickie Bradley, said that Hartin was being subjected to "Gestapo" tactics. Bradley said that he was really shocked at what is happening, Daily Beast reported.

Andrew Ashcroft claimed that Hartin is unfit to care for their twin daughters due to her "immoral habits," as well as her involvement in the accidental shooting death of Belize cop Superintendent Henry Jemmott.

The British billionaire's son noted that Hartin hardly spends any time with the children, adding that she frequently leaves the care of the children to others, according to another Daily Mail report.

Andrew Ashcroft also said that her former partner's main occupation is "attending and socializing." He further noted that the socialite is addicted to prescribed and illegal drugs and a habitual drunkard.

But Hartin denied all the allegations and showed a recent medical report to prove that she was not on drugs.

Jasmine Hartin's Manslaughter Case

Jasmine Hartin was granted bail during a court hearing. Judge Herbert Lord set the bail for Hartin at $30,000 Belize dollars, Independent reported.

Part of her bail agreement was that Jasmine Hartin should surrender her travel documents and stay in Belize until the trial was over.

Hartin had confessed to authorities that she was practicing how to handle a gun when it went off and accidentally shot Henry Jemmott.

The Belize cop was struck behind his ear by his own service pistol in the early hours of May 28. Hartin was found on a dock near Jemmott's body.

According to a New York Post report, the two talked about Hartin getting a firearm license after she confided to the Belize cop that she was almost raped at a party. The socialite was found covered in blood.

Hartin said that she tried to remove the magazine from the gun, but it was stuck. The gun then went off, and she did not know that there was still a bullet inside the gun's chamber.

Jasmine Hartin was charged with his manslaughter by negligence. The offense carries a maximum prison sentence of nine months or a fine of about $5,000.
