Matthew Stafford Net Worth

Stafford's net worth is estimated at $80 million in 2021. He played his first twelve seasons in the National Football League with the Detroit Lions.

However, the team had decided to trade him for Jared Goff and Draft picks to the Rams.

Stafford started his path to football at Highland Park High School in his hometown in Dallas, Texas.

He was not only one of the nation's top quarterbacks and a five-star recruit, but he also shared classrooms and fields with Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw, according to a MARCA News report.

He was at the University of Georgia in 2006 to quarterback the Bulldogs at the collegiate level, wherein he had an outstanding three seasons, making his first-team All-American in 2008.

Stafford's net worth started to form in the Detroit Lions as he signed a six-year $72 million rookie contract, with a guaranteed $41.7 million.

Meanwhile, Stafford is seen to be the highest-paid player at the upcoming game, with $22 million before taxes and agents' fees. This counts both his salary and bonus money this season.

Stafford also has an estimated $2 million annually from endorsements, appearances, licensing, and memorabilia, according to a Forbes report.

It was also reported that the Rams quarterback out-earns everyone on the Bengals.

Stafford never won a playoff game before this year despite frequently ranking among the league's passing leaders with the Lions.

The 34-year-old quarterback has also guaranteed an extra $225,000 from the NFL, with his three wins this postseason.

Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 56

Meanwhile, Hall of Fame running back and Los Angeles Rams legend Erick Dick is unlikely to attend the team's match against the Bengals at SoFi stadium.

Dickson said during an interview that he would rather watch the game of television as the Rams only offered him "nosebleed tickets" to the Super bowl.

Dick rushed for 7,245 yards and 56 touchdowns in 65 career games for the Rams. In addition, he also caught 123 passes for 912 yards and two touchdowns.

On the other hand, NFL writer Nick Shook asked Rams receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., if he would sacrifice "salary stick with the Rams."

He tweeted that the Rams receiver answered yes, with a smile.

Reports noted that the Bengals are the underdog in this game, adding that it could be a good thing as underdogs "are on a roll in the Super Bowl," according to an AZ Central News report.

In addition, Joe Burrow is seen as the difference in a close game, adding that the quarterback leads his team down the field to set up the "winning field goal," which would give the franchise its first Super Bowl victory.
