Kim Kardashian's boyfriend, Pete Davidson, and her former husband, Kanye West, may come face-to-face at the 2022 Emmy Awards ceremony.

According to E! News, this was because Pete and Kanye's respective works scored nominations at the Emmys. The list of nominations in this year's Emmy Awards was announced Tuesday, revealing that Kanye's Netflix project, "Jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy," got a nod for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.

On the other hand, Pete's former show, "Saturday Night Live," racked up nine nominations, including Outstanding Variety Sketch Series.

The report said if Pete Davidson and Kanye West both attend the 2022 Emmy Awards ceremony in September, it could be the first time they have publicly come face-to-face following their feud over Kim Kardashian.

Pete Davidson and Kanye West's Feud Over Kim Kardashian

The "Donda" rapper has shared several Instagram posts attacking the comedian since Pete Davidson started dating Kanye West's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Kanye has been taking shots at Pete since early this year.

In March, Kanye posted on Instagram the music video of his new single "Eazy." The video featured a clay figure of Pete, kidnapped, tied up, and buried alive.

In the animated visuals, the rapper is seen pouring liquor over Pete's head while he is buried in the ground. He also planted seeds on him, which sprout into roses.

The "Eazy" video ended with a statement: "Everyone lived happily ever after / Except Skete you know who / JK he's fine." Pete hit back at Kanye after a few days.

In the text messages that Pete allegedly sent to the rapper that leaked online, the comedian taunted Kanye and defended Kim.

In the message thread, Pete called Kim "the best mother I've ever met" before telling Kanye that he "decided im not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet. Grow the f--k up."

Kanye then replied: "Oh you using profanity now. Where are you right now?" Pete sarcastically answered: "In bed with your wife." The "Saturday Night Live" star also sent a shirtless snap of himself in bed.

The comedian then urged the rapper to meet him in person to discuss their differences instead of airing their dirty laundry in public. Pete also told Kanye that he could help him with his mental health issues.

Pete's friend Johnny Potenza told The Sun that the comedian decided to respond to Kanye because he did not want to look like a wimp.

"Pete's never been a fighter... [but] Kanye has just been picking fights and calling him names and it's childish - a pathetic love drama," Potenza noted.

"He's probably had it with Kanye. He's defending his woman, stepping up for her," he added.

Kim Kardashian's Boyfriend Pete Davidson Looks Forward to Being a Father

Pete Davidson has confessed how much he was looking forward to being a father. In a "Hart to Heart" teaser, the comedian told Kevin Hart that he wanted to have a child," the Daily Mail reported.

"[I'm] definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, is I want to have a kid. That's, like, my dream," Pete said.

The comedian noted that it would be "so fun to dress up a little dude," and he was excited about that chapter in his life.

"So, like, that's kind of what I'm just preparing for now, is trying to be like as good of a dude and develop and get better so when that happens, it's just easier," he added.
