Carmelo Anthony has been candid about his NBA retirement when asked about it, saying that people will hear it straight from him.

Yardbarker reported that Anthony and teammate LeBron James are the only active players from the 2003 draft. So far, Anthony has appeared in 64 games this season and only 15 combined over the last three years. He credits his mental approach to each season.

Ever since the Denver Nuggets drafted him, his NBA career has flourished. He has also played for the New York Knicks from 2011 to 2017 and Oklahoma Thunder from 2017 to 2018.

In 2018, he joined the Houston Rockets and played for Portland Trailblazers from 2019 to 2021. Currently, he is playing with the Los Angeles Lakers team.

Throughout his NBA career, Carmelo Anthony had been named an NBA All-Star ten times and an All-NBA Team member six times.
