A Westminster man committed suicide by jumping from a parking structure at Disneyland on Saturday night, according to ABC 7's Eyewitness News.

The incident was reported at approximately 9 p.m. There were police on the site, and certain park services were interrupted.

Tweets and phone calls to the Eyewitness News newsroom from Disneyland guests revealed that the park's trams had been shut down and that visitors were making their way back to their cars on foot.

The Orange County coroner's office is also responding to the location, according to the police.

Westminster Man Was a School Principal With Pending Cases

The Westminster man who took his own life at Disneyland was the head of a primary school in Huntington Beach and a renowned pianist who performed and taught all across Southern California.

Christopher Christensen, 51, was taken into custody last month on charges of disorderly conduct and misdemeanor child endangerment.

On Monday, December 5, he was supposed to go to court.

On Saturday, Christensen wrote a detailed update for his Facebook profile.

"I hate when people leave this Earth with so many unanswered questions. So, I hope this provides some insight and perspective..." he wrote.

The note described an argument that resulted in a call to law enforcement.

"I am on the brink of losing my job," his Facebook post said. "So, here I am... writing my final FB post to all of you. I need you all to know that a gentle, kind, loving, and sincerely good man has been destroyed by one unfortunate night."

Christensen faced child endangerment and assault charges on November 22. He has pled not guilty to both charges.

Filings in the case said that the claimed events occurred on November 15. Christensen was subsequently taken into custody but released on November 17 after posting a bond for $10,000.

No new information was provided about the investigation, according to Redlands Daily Facts.

Westminster Man's Father Worked at Disney

Dianna Gray claims to have known the Westminster man for the past three decades.

He owned Seaside Strings, a Huntington Beach business that provided string ensembles for weddings and other events. Christensen hired Gray to play at several gatherings.

Christensen was connected to Disney somehow, and Gray revealed that his father, Jim, had been employed by Disney as a composer.

The Don Dorsey Consulting website claims that Jim Christensen, a music director, was responsible for adapting the electric-music track "Baroque Hoedown" for the Main Street Electrical Parade, which is one of the most successful in Disney's history.

Many others may have seen Christensen's fall and its immediate aftermath because he died while Disneyland was still busy with visitors as it was open until midnight every Saturday.

Christensen's profile says that he got his master's degree from UC Irvine and was principal at Fulton Middle School from 2006 to 2011 and at Moiola K-8 School from 2003 to 2006. He also worked at Masuda Middle School as assistant principal from 2001 to 2003.

He had three children and two stepchildren.

Gray said she did not know what made Christensen decide to commit suicide. She said she only knew Christensen in a positive way.
