The Jared Bridegan killer has been arrested after the Microsoft executive was killed around a year ago in front of his daughter, who was a two-year-old at the time, according to Florida officials.

Florida authorities identified the person responsible for Bridegan's murder as 61-year-old Henry Tenon, according to Fox News. He is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, second-degree murder, accessory to a capital felony, and child abuse.

Investigators did not disclose the evidence linking Tenon to the Microsoft executive's murder. However, his most recent address has a connection to Bridegan's ex-wife, Shanna Gardner-Fernandez.

Gardner-Fernandez's second husband, Mario Fernandez, owned the address where Tenon resided at the time of the murder.

The property was at 5239 Potomac Avenue in Jacksonville, which was purchased in 2017 and sold in October, according to public records.

The Jared Bridegan murder suspect seemed to have rented the property directly from Fernandez.

Jacksonville Beach Police Department Chief Gene Paul and Melissa Nelson disclosed the recent developments in the case. Nelson noted that they knew Tenon did not act alone.

One law enforcement official noted that Gardner-Fernandez and Fernandez are still suspects in Bridegan's murder.

Jared Bridegan Murder

Bridegan was on his way back home on February 16 when he spotted a tire in the middle of the road in a quiet residential neighborhood. He then tried to move the tire and was then shot multiple times. Officials called it a "targeted" killing.

Bridegan's daughter was still strapped into her car seat in his Volkswagen Atlas when a passerby saw Bridegan three minutes later.

Emergency lights were flashing when officers arrived. The tire remained in the middle of the road near the Microsoft executive lying next to his open driver's door, according to police.

The case has taken new speculations after his ex-wife was found to have about 300 entries and motions, with filings arguing over where to send their twins to elementary school.

Court filings also showed accusations of mental and financial manipulation.

Amid the case, Gardner-Fernandez and her husband have hired a criminal defense attorney despite not being identified as persons of interest or suspects at the time.

A spokesperson for the couple noted that they were no longer speaking out of respect to Bridegan's wife, Kirsten Bridegan. They claimed that she specifically asked them not to speak to the media.

Gardner-Fernandez has been a target of media scrutiny and speculations since the Microsoft top official's murder and remained silent a first.

In June 2022, she sat down for her only TV interview and talked for around 40 minutes while going through every detail of her life with Bridegan and her life after his death.

Gardner-Fernandez said she was told not to speak publicly but decided to do so due to the level of speculation she was receiving.

Bridegan and Gardner-Fernandez both wanted full custody of their twins, with court files detailing accusations of spying, deceit, and more.

The two reached a custody agreement in the end.

In the TV interview, she was asked if she had anything to do with the Microsoft top dog's murder, to which she answered "no."
