Recently, the Orange County Sheriff's Office released a chilling video showing the armed robbery of a Florida Amazon delivery driver.

The driver allegedly left the van at the Caden Apartments on January 13 to deliver packages, only to find two convicted felons waiting for him, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Florida.

After the driver got inside the van, deputies said Arkimase Divinard, 23, and Joel Junior Aime, 24, demanded his belongings.

As shown on the dashcam video, one of the criminals pulls out a revolver and places it on the driver's neck before stealing his wallet, according to WFLA.

Around ten goods were stolen, and the suspects are believed to have fled in a white van, according to investigators.

"That's very scary. Things don't got to be that way," Nathaniel Hayes told WESH. "As long as you don't mess with nobody, nobody is supposed to mess with you, but I guess not everybody gets that message."

Both Divinard and Aime have been arrested on allegations of armed robbery.

According to the sheriff's office, Divinard and Aime have 85 criminal charges and 11 criminal offenses between them.

"We hope they will stay locked up for a long, long time," the sheriff's office said on Facebook.

Find My iPhone App Revealed the Location of the Suspect Who Robbed the Amazon Delivery Driver

A passerby who saw the robbery near the Caden Apartments on 1953 Americana Blvd. flagged down law enforcement, per Fox News.

The Florida Amazon delivery driver reportedly informed authorities that after making a delivery, he saw a man standing on the driver's side of the truck.

A second man had entered the van's cargo area when the driver stepped into the truck, carrying a gun and demanding the driver hand over his goods.

The video saw the second man stealing the driver's cell phone and bank cards and digging through his pockets.

Aime was eventually found in a white Honda van and detained when he was recognized from the dashcam footage.

Tattoos helped authorities track down Divinard. The driver also showed deputies a snapshot from the Find My iPhone app, which pinpointed the location of the stolen phone to Divinard's residence.

Delivery Driver Is Among the Most Dangerous and Underpaid Jobs

Like other delivery drivers, an Amazon delivery driver is on the economy's front lines with little protection, yet performing one of the most critical occupations in the United States, said EBN.

Advisor Smith, an online resource for small businesses, evaluated the 25 most dangerous employment in the United States. Delivery drivers came in at number eight, with a fatal injury rate of 28 per 100 workers and a median yearly income of $37,423.

Despite the importance of truck drivers to the nation's economy, some companies and drivers may need to take adequate precautions to ensure their safety, which can result in costly accidents and legal disputes.

"You see anything from a dog bite to a wrongful death," says Aaron Davis, personal injury attorney, and partner at Davis Goldman, a law firm based in South Florida. "There are incidents involving shootings in high-crime neighborhoods or even crime inside the home. Employers owe a duty of reasonable care to protect them."
