After his recent health scare, Jamie Foxx has been seen in public again, waving at fans from a boat in Chicago.

The Oscar winner was reportedly spotted from a Mega-Boat cruising on the Chicago River and greeted fans on a passing boat. The fans were reportedly cheering him on.

The "Annie" star was in the Windy City continuing his rehabilitation, according to the Chicago Tribune. This comes after a report earlier this month that he is already on the mend.

Just a couple of days before his Chicago boat sighting, "They Cloned Tyrone" co-star star John Boyega gave a health update on Foxx, saying, "Yeah. He's all good. He's all good." The Star Wars actor added, "So we're just going to wait for him to reappear when he wants to. You know, privacy and all."

The film's co-producer, Datari Turner, also confirmed that the actor might return earlier than many expected, saying, "He's doing amazing. I promise you. Doing really, really good." The "The Cloned Tyrone" co-producer then added, "He's in really, really good shape and spirits. And he'll be back on the screen. He'll be back to work very soon."

A source close to the Foxx family gave an update on the actor's health, saying, that Jamie Foxx "is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself," adding that "he has the tightest circle around him."

Family Visiting Jamie Foxx as He Rehabilitates in Chicago

As Foxx is trying to rehabilitate in the Windy City, several members of his immediate family were spotted in a Chicago medical facility to visit him, including Corrine Foxx, his daughter and co-host. Corrine was the one who first announced Foxx's medical emergency a few months ago.

She was not alone, however, as TMZ shared a few images of family and friends visiting the ailing actor in Chicago. This includes his youngest daughter, Anelise Bishop, who has also remained by her father's side since the ordeal began. She was spotted with her older sister in ChiTown as well.

Rumors about Jamie Foxx's condition have been circling since he was first admitted to an Atlanta hospital while filming in Georgia. However, this latest sighting might put some of the rumors to rest, noted TMZ.

Photos of Jamie Foxx walking around the Chicago area on Saturday have also surfaced, and it looked like he was in great spirits, further debunking some rumors that he was still sick.

Jamie Foxx Is Still 'Resting'

Actress Porscha Coleman also gave an update on her "Dad Stop Embarrassing Me" co-star's health, according to Men's Health magazine. She said that she "talked to people very close to Foxx" and they told her that he is "doing well."

"Once I heard the news, of course, I reached out, but how Foxx is doing it is how Foxx should be doing it," she said, talking about how the actor is a very private person. She then confirms that her co-star is resting and doing well. "And he's going to be back. Trust and believe," she added.
