In a heartwarming tribute, Hollywood celebrated the iconic Macaulay Culkin on Friday as he received a star on Hollywood Boulevard.

Best known for his role as young Kevin McCallister in the beloved "Home Alone" franchise, Culkin, now 43, has left an indelible mark on pop culture since his breakout performance in 1990, ABC 7 noted.

Culkin, who continued to grace the screen with diverse roles, including a notable stint in the 10th season of "American Horror Story" in 2021, was joined by his "Home Alone" co-star Catherine O'Hara at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

O'Hara, who portrayed Culkin's on-screen mother, playfully quipped, "Thank you for including me, your fake Mom, who left you 'Home Alone' not once, but twice."

Expressing gratitude, Culkin extended thanks to his long-time representatives and professionals who have been instrumental in shaping his career since childhood.

Actress Natasha Lyonne also spoke on behalf of Culkin during the ceremony.

Macaulay Culkin's Family Moment at Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

In a rare family appearance, Macaulay Culkin, accompanied by fiancée Brenda Song, proudly showcased their two children at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, according to PEOPLE.

The couple, who welcomed an infant son earlier this year, was joined by their 2-year-old son, Dakota.

Photographs captured Culkin sharing a tender moment, kissing the head of his younger son, while their elder son, seated in the row behind his parents, sported a distinctive mohawk.

During his acceptance speech, Culkin expressed profound appreciation for Song and their children, declaring Song as "absolutely everything" and one of his "three favorite people" after the birth of their two boys.

In an interview last year, Song emphasized their hands-on parenting approach, noting that they opted not to have a nanny, with Song's mother providing invaluable support.

The couple, who met on the set of "Changeland" in Thailand, has kept their relationship relatively private.

They announced their engagement last year, and their first child, Dakota Song Culkin, was born on April 5, 2021.

Macaulay Culkin's Early Life and Career Highlights

Born on August 26, 1980, in New York City, Macaulay Culkin embarked on his stage career at the age of 4 in 1984.

His screen debut came in the 1988 drama "Rocket Gibraltar," leading to a role in the 1989 comedy "Uncle Buck," directed by John Hughes, who played a pivotal role in Culkin's early career.

However, it was Culkin's unforgettable portrayal of young Kevin McCallister in "Home Alone" that earned him a Golden Globe nomination in 1990.

The success of "Home Alone" and its sequel, along with performances in films like "My Girl," "The Good Son," and "Richie Rich," established Culkin as one of the 100 Greatest Kid Stars, per NBC Los Angeles.

Beyond acting, Culkin fronted the comedy rock band The Pizza Underground from 2013 to 2018. In 2017, he founded Bunny Ears, a satirical pop culture website and podcast, where he currently serves as the publisher and CEO.
