Music superstar Taylor Swift is not happy with a Florida college student tracking her private jet, so she is threatening him with legal action. The student is known for not just tracking Taylor Swift, but also the private jets of other celebrities.

The Florida student is named Jack Sweeney and he spoke with CNN regarding his communications with Swift's lawyers. He confirmed that he received a cease-and-desist letter threatening legal action from the singer's lawyers over the social media accounts that he runs to track the flights of Taytay and other celebrities.

Sweeney rose to infamy among celebrities after angering Elon Musk for tracking his jet travels online. His spat with Musk ended after X disbanded Sweeney's account "@ElonJet" back in December 2022, a little after the billionaire bought Twitter.

The letter to the Florida student stated that the site poses an "imminent threat to the safety and wellbeing" of Swift, accusing Sweeney of disregarding the public safety of others "in exchange for public attention and/or requests for financial gain."

The letter also referenced Musk offering Sweeney $5,000 to delete the Twitter account tracking his jet, which the Florida student refused and instead asked for $50,000. The letter also claimed that it is a "life-or-death matter" for Taylor Swift, who has to deal with not just stalkers, but now also MAGA fanatics.

Finally, the letter stated that Taylor Swift "will have no choice but to pursue any and all legal remedies available to her," though Sweeney told CNN in an email that he received the letter from the attorneys after the singer received much scrutiny over her carbon footprint.

Taylor Swift Addresses Haters During Her Japan Tour

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift herself is in Japan for the Asian leg of her Eras Tour, just shortly after winning the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. She remains to be unbothered by all the criticisms regarding her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

As she performed in front of her Japanese fans, she told the crowd, "I've been working on 'Tortured Poets' since right after I turned in 'Midnights, Everyone's like, 'Why do you write so many albums?' Man, because I love it ... I'm having fun, leave me alone.'"

The singer added that she worked on her new album for two years and she wanted it to be "perfect" for her fans before releasing it. The album, titled "The Tortured Poets Department" is slated to be released on April 19 of this year.

Donald Trump May Receive Massive Backlash from Taylor Swift Fans

Meanwhile, as Taylor Swift continues her Eras Tour and relationship with Travis Kelce, many conservatives are getting triggered by her, including Donald Trump. However, as The Hill pointed out, this could backfire on the former president, who claimed he is more popular than Taylor Swift.

Some of the former president's allies have vowed to have a "holy war" against Swift, especially if she endorses Joe Biden again. However, waging this war could hurt Trump in the demographic he is least popular with, young voters and women.

"Waging a war on Taylor Swift is certainly not a way to win over the young voters and women that they've been hemorrhaging because of their stance on so many issues and the people, the abusive men that they've elevated into positions of power, said Dream for America Press Secretary Kaivan Shroff, who is one of the leaders of the Gen-Z advocacy group.
