It was just last December when theatrical power couple Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel called it quits after 10 years of marriage.

The two singer/actors first met while performing in the hit musical "Rent." And though it seemed as though Menzel and Diggs' relationship was going strong, it unfortunately came to a shocking halt right before the New Year.

Fast-forward to now, it seems that Diggs has got his groove and mojo back, while his ex-wife Menzel is taking it slow when it comes to finding love again.

Us Magazine reported that Diggs is back on the dating scene and just recently made his first red carpet appearance with what is rumored to be his new girlfriend.

The lady on Diggs' arm at last Sunday's 2014 BET Awards is model Amanza Smith Brown.

According to Us Magazine, Diggs and Brown have been dating for two months so far, and judging by their smiling pictures on the red carpet, they seem to be very happy together.

So who exactly is Amanza Smith Brown?

Brown is reportedly the ex-wife of former NFL player Ralph Brown.

During a recent interview on "The Wendy Williams Show," Diggs said that while dating, one of the first questions he will ask a woman is if she is a mother since he is a father.

Given that Amanza Smith Brown reportedly has two children with her ex-husband, it's safe to say that she's met Diggs' criteria.

Idina Menzel on the other hand has been a bit more cautious with who she is dating for the sake of she and Diggs' son, Walker, who is 4 years old.

"I don't want to keep introducing him [Walker] to people and having him form bonds and then take 'em away, you know," Menzel told TV Guide. "It's bad enough his mom and dad are getting divorced."

In addition to her son, Menzel said that another reason she is cautious when it comes to dating is because she too grew up as a child with divorced parents.

"I went through it [parents divorcing] when I was 15 years old. I keep telling myself, because I feel so badly for him, it's better that he's 4 and a half than when he's 15," Menzel said. "He has two parents that love him very much and we want to be great moms and dads. At 15, I was too aware. I thought I was an adult, and I got in the middle of everything and I took on the stress for both of them."
