If anyone doubts that Juan Gabriel is eternal, they should see how two greats in their musical genres, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé are mesmerized when they listen to 'Amor Eterno'. Their faces say it all.

The artists listened to the composition of the "Divo de Juarez" during the auditions of the 26th season of the famous reality show 'The Voice' , which has just begun in the United States.

In addition to Snoop and Bublé, this season's coaches are Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani. The four were with the iconic red chairs turned the other way when a teenage girl identified as Kiara Vega began singing the song made popular by Rocio Durcal.

Within seconds, the two male performers turned around to show their approval. Then Reba did the same. The 18-year-old born in Tampa, Florida, captivated the judges with her emotional interpretation, her voice and the passion she conveyed.

The eternal love of mourning

The choice of 'Amor Eterno' was not accidental for Kiara. The song is a tribute to her great-grandfather who recently passed away. With her interpretation, the young woman sought to express the wish that her loved ones would never leave and to keep their memory alive. This personal connection between the singer and the song added a poignant depth to her performance.

"I loved every moment of it! I'm a huge fan of that music. This is the biggest surprise for me so far. Really, you blew me away, Kiara!" said Bublé. With teary eyes, the Canadian performer encouraged the contestant from his chair. On his end, Snoop showed how much fun he was having while listening to Kiara and danced his head to the rhythm of the performance.

It is worth remembering that, although neither of the two men on the jury are Latino, their musical tastes lean towards those genres.

"Kiara was an instant hit for me," he said after the contestant chose him to begin her competitive career on The Voice with him as her coach. "My wife is Argentinian, so for the last 16 years of my life, I've been surrounded by Latin culture..... That was a huge, huge win for me today!" added the coach and husband of Luisana Lopilato.

Snoop is American but over the years has demonstrated his musical taste for Latin music, especially for Mexican music and, in addition to having shared high school studies with Jenni Rivera and his brother Lupillo, Snopp Dogg has to his credit several collaborations with regional Mexican bands, including: Banda MS.

The magic of 'Amor Eterno

Composed by Juan Gabriel, it became one of the biggest hits of Rocío Dúrcal's career.

The Spanish singer's emotional and profound interpretation connected in an unparalleled way with the Spanish-speaking audience. The song, which speaks of the pain of loss and the hope of a reunion, became an anthem for those who have experienced love and loss. Its popularity transcended borders, becoming a classic of romantic music.
