In the last seven years, Apple has sold 800 million iOS devices. That's a huge number, though only about one in 10 of those devices are jailbroken.

To help point this number higher, a team of developers have been working on a jailbreak store called iMods, according to the iPhone Hacks website and Twitter. This store will be targeting users who are unfamiliar with jailbreaking or aren't ready for the risk of doing it.

Although the developers are hoping to get rookie jailbreakers to use the store, they will welcome existing jailbreakers as well.

Instead of "jailbreaking" their devices, new jailbreakers will "iMod" them. The word jailbreak seems to have a negative stigma on people who have refused to do it. It'll still be jailbreaking, it just won't be called that.

iMods will be a very user-friendly store that looks a lot like the App Store from Apple. It is scheduled for release when the jailbreak for iOS 8 comes out. iOS 8 is scheduled for a fall release.

If you can't wait to jailbreak your device with iMod or if you've already jailbroken your device, here are some tweaks you can enjoy right now.

OneThumb

If you have multiple music programs like Pandora, iHeartRadio, Songza and Spotify, it's quite likely that you've spent plenty of time rating songs with either a "like" or a "dislike." You click the "thumbs up" (or down) button, or whatever button the service has. If you don't like a song, simply click the thumbs down button. But, what happens when you've already told one music program that you don't like the song and the song still plays on another app? You have to give it another thumbs down. This can get annoying.

With the OneThumb tweak, you'll be able to simply rate a song once, in one app, and all the other apps will learn your rating. That means if you don't like a song, you'll give it a thumbs down rating, and all other apps will stop playing the song.

OneThumb is available for free on Cydia.

Fully Masked Passwords

Does it annoy you when you type in a password on an iOS device and you briefly see the letter you just typed before it turns into a black circle? With the Fully Masked Passwords tweak, when you type a letter on your keyboard, it will immediately show up as a masked black circle. This is the perfect tweak if you fear that someone could see your password when you type it in.
