The NFC East is the most successful division in National Football League History. With a combined 12 Super Bowl titles, no other NFL division can match their success on the football field in the Super Bowl era.

Lately, we haven't really seen a dominate team in the NFC East. The last three divisional winners have all been different teams. The last time an NFC East team even won more than 10 games was 2009, when the Dallas Cowboys won 11. Every team in the NFC East this year is very beatable and doesn't appear to be among the elite teams in the league.

Here, Latin Post.com breaks down the four NFC teams, and see why they will and won't win the division this season.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have the best offense in the division. Unlike other teams in the division, who all lost a great offensive player or are making big changes to their system, the Cowboys are returning their top tier offensive system. Wide receiver Dez Bryant is already showing signs of greatness, and Tony Romo's back surgery doesn't appear to be bothering him at all. Their offensive line is getting better every year as well.

But there is something called "defense." The Cowboys had the worst defense in the league last season, and many expect it to be even worse this year. Without Sean Lee, Jason Hatcher and DeMarcus Ware, this could get really ugly. Despite going 5-1 in the division last season, the Cowboys still finished 8-8.

New York Giants

The Giants are the polar opposites of the Cowboys. The Giants defense ranked No. 8 in the entire NFL last season, and there's a great chance it may be better this season. The additions of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Walter Thurmond and Quintin Demps could make this defense elite. Veteran head coach Tom Coughlin is seeking his fourth Super Bowl championship.

After three preseason games, the Giants starting offense has looked horrendous. Quarterback Eli Manning has virtually no time to throw the football with this mediocre offensive line in front of him. The running game is still unproven, and we must remember that Hakeem Nicks is now with the Indianapolis Colts. Running back Rashad Jennings is going to have a lot of pressure on him this season.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are the reigning NFC East champions, having gone 10-6 last season. Second year quarterback Nick Foles had a tremendous year with 27 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions. LeSean McCoy is one of the best running backs in the league, and he's shown he can be a great blocker as well.

Even though the Eagles did win the division last season, they did lose two big targets. The most notable one of course being DeSean Jackson, who put up 7,813 all purpose yards in his six seasons there. Jackson is the best deep threat in the NFL and is a fantastic special teams player. Jason Avant will also no longer be with the team. Can Nick Foles repeat the magic from last season? Or is he just another Eagles one-hit wonder?

Washington Redskins

The Redskins won this division in 2012 with a 10-6 record. Robert Griffin III has shown he can be a great quarterback on this team, while leading the Redskins to the playoffs. The Redskins made the biggest NFC East free agent acquisition of the offseason by signing DeSean Jackson. Jackson had a career high in yards, touchdowns and receptions last season. It will very exciting to watch him go back and face his former team twice, especially in Philadelphia.

The Redskins have an exciting team, but distractions and a new system still leave many questions. Coach Mike Shanahan was fired last year after many disagreements with Griffin and owner Daniel Snyder. Even Griffin's father got involved saying that he didn't want his son to run around a lot. We still don't even know if Griffin is 100 percent fully healthy yet.

All four NFC East teams could win the division this year. No team has shown themselves to be clearly better than the rest. All four teams have big weaknesses, new systems or unproven players. With three different winners in the last three seasons, the NFC East is up for grabs.
