The next episode of "Doctor Who" will see the pair of heros entering some unfreindly territory as they struggle to remain true to their mission while adapting to their newfound relationship.

Episode 2 of "Doctor Who" Season 8 is entitled "Into the Dalek." This will feature the miniaturized Doctor and Clara as they venture inside a Dalek -- going behind enemy lines, so to speak. According to Doctor Who TV, guests for Episode 2 include Michael Smiley as Colonel Blue, Laura dos Santos as Gretchen, Ben Crompton as Ross and Zawe Ashton as Journey Blue. This episode will air on Saturday Aug. 30 on BBC America.

The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) will be wasting no time in confronting his oldest and greatest enemy. The Doctor and Clara will be fighting the Dalek fleet, which will test their newfound trust in each other because they will be greatly outnumbered.

Episode 2 will reveal that a Dalek fleet surrounds the solitary rebel ship. Only the Doctor will be able to help, but he will need Clara to accomplish that. The Doctor is also faced with the decision that would forever change the Daleks, and he is compelled to examine his conscience as to whether or not he is a good man.

Clara is not going to be fazed by the identity of the new Doctor because she got closure over the loss of the 11th Doctor, who came to her in the closing scenes of the premiere episode of Season 8 and told her to take care of and trust the 12th Doctor. Not much has been revealed about the new Doctor, and his fight with the Daleks will come as a character test.

Again, like in the first episode, he will have to make a decision as to whether he has to dole out harsh punishment or be merciful. According to IB Times, Steven Moffat said that the introduction of the foes so early in the season is to shake things up with the new Doctor because he has to develop immediately into being the true Doctor in order to defeat the Daleks and face other aliens and monsters in future episodes.
