William Levy's latest movie, "Addicted," has plenty of steamy scenes, and Elizabeth Gutierrez was recently asked what she thought about them.

"It's a good thing you're enjoying them," she said.

Mostly, she was thankful that things were going so well for Levy.

"It always makes me happy that things are going well for him," Gutierrez said. "Knowing all the effort he's putting in and persistence he has, he deserves this. He deserves all the good things that are happening to him, and I'm happy."

Gutierrez was joined by her two young children at the premiere of Guillermo Del Toro's "Book of Life" in Miami on Oct. 13. She explained that she went to the event because she wanted to support Latino talent, which she said is flourishing at the moment.

It was the first time she brought her children to a red carpet event, and the two were understandably shy while answering questions from reporters.

Levy and Gutierrez's son revealed that he loves movies, but only watching them. He's also much more into sports. Their daughter said she liked acting and singing.

Del Toro was recently on "Despierta America," and a couch that he was sitting on with Cristina Saralegui broke. On the red carpet, the filmmaker joked that it was a mix of things that contributed to the couch's demise.

The reporter said that it was an old couch and that it took him visiting for them to get a new one.

"That's why I did it," Del Toro said.

Jorge Gutierrez, who directed "The Book of Life," was on the red carpet and also joked about Del Toro's couch moment. He said he was worried about what he was in store for on his future visit to the show.

Gutierrez explained that pitching the story to Del Toro was initially disastrous.

Other celebrities were also on hand to watch the film.

Alicia Machado, for example, spoke about landing the cover of People En Español's most powerful women issue. And Gloria and Emilio Estefan talked about taking time out of their busy schedules to support the film.
