Grand Theft Auto 5 has already made its way to Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360, and so far it has already broken records in video game sales. However, one of the most awaited parts of the Rockstar Games-published video game is its release on PC.

Many fans and gamers are still hoping that GTA 5 will finally make its way to personal computers soon, just like it has in past titles of the series. As a matter of fact, an online petition has been created on Change.org and the appeal already has over 470,000 signatures from GTA fans all over the world who want to get the game on PC.

"Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many people's lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform," Mike Julliard, author of the petition, wrote.

But it seems like GTA fans wouldn't have to wait too long. Two different dates have surfaced online from two different websites.

Gameseek UK has posted a November 22, 2013 release date for the video game, and it even offers a pre-order option for Grand Theft Auto 5. Zavvi.com on the other hand, posted a December 6, 2013 release date for the video game; and so far, the site has already sold out on its pre-orders.

However, both sites have noted that these dates are "placeholder dates" and are subject to change once Rockstar Games confirms an official release date for GTA 5 on PC.

So far, the game publishers have kept mum on any news about the video game release on PC. Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser noted however, that if there is a market for the game on PC, then they will deliver.

"Everything else is up for consideration. That's all I can give you," Houser said, in an interview with IGN. "But we can do what we want wherever there's the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market. If that's on Apple we put something on Apple. Wherever it might be."

If this be the case, then we may really see a release on PC soon.
