Jennifer Lawrence, 24, has ended her relationship with the Grammy-winning Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 37, reports People magazine.

MailOnline reports the Oscar-winning actress met with her father, Gary, for comfort food in Los Angeles Monday afternoon following press coverage of the split. It was the first time Lawrence stepped out since the breakup earlier that day.

Lawrence and Martin had been dating for three months before the split, which may have ended due to Martin's long divorce from estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 41, with whom he has daughter Apple and son Moses.

It has been widely reported that Martin's relationship with Paltrow had driven a wedge between him and Lawrence, and it is speculated that's why the "Hunger Games" star called off the relationship, though another report claims the reason is their "insane schedules."

According to MailOnline, a source said, "Jen got tired of watching Chris play happy families with Gwyn and was annoyed that he was trying to keep her hidden away."

Martin and Lawrence have been pictured together once since they started dating in June.

The couple rarely had public dates; the actress spent much time at the father of two's Malibu home, leading many to believe the couple planned to live together.

On Sept. 8 the couple was spotted on a date at the Beverly Hills eatery La Dolce Vita where onlookers reported the two looked happy and laughed a lot.

The couple's next public appearance was when Lawrence attended Martin's performance at the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas on Sept. 19. She had watched him during the closed rehearsal and joined him backstage following the Coldplay concert.

Martin and Paltrow separated in March after ten years of marriage, yet were recently photographed enjoying a sushi dinner in Los Angeles last week; Paltrow pictured stroking Martin's face as the two departed.

A source told People magazine that Lawrence and Martin were together as recently as Oct. 21, following Martin's friendly dinner with his ex-wife.
