Although Nicki Minaj didn't release an album in 2013, it was still a huge year for her. Not only did she up her business game with numerous endorsement deals and land in 4th place on the Forbes annual Cash Kings List, she also busied herself being a judge on "American Idol" and filming her first comedy movie, "The Other Woman."

Now it's time for Nicki Minaj to return to her main focus, her passion and priority: music.

"[American Idol] was such a great experience, I would not trade it for the world. But my heart is in my music and I had to step back and go have different experiences so that I could write my third album... That's the most important thing in my life right now." The Queens rapper speaks on her upcoming third album, "That's actually what I'm doing right now, beginning the third album and that will be out in 2014."

Nicki Minaj is currently working on her third studio album, which is a follow-up to her 2012 albums "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up" and "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded."

In addition, the rap diva responds to the speculation of collaboration with Miley Cyrus, which was caused by posting recent Instagram photo of Miley Cyrus and Mike WiLL Made-It during a session in the studio, "I didn't make any music with Miley. There was a song that was a possibility but it didn't work out."

On Friday, Nicki Minaj will appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." She plans to promote her new fragrance "Minajesty," and premiere the commercial for it.
