Apple went back to the drawing board in a hurry.

The new iOS 7 operating system already has been updated to fix issues with the home lock screen as users were complaining that people bypassed it. It comes as no surprise that Apple acted quickly to fix the issues considering that the new iPhone markets itself as a safer, more secure phone with a better home lock screen.

Apple previously released 7.0.1 to fix an iPhone 5s problem that affected the performance of the new touch fingerprint sensor, while the 7.0.2 update, which was released Thursday, addresses the home lock system.

Apple's urgency with the update is reflected in the fact that the previous iOS 6 was not updated for a month and a half after it was introduced.

Despite some lingering concerns about the new operating system, it has fared well thus far. Of all of the web traffic from iOS platforms, the iOS7 already reportedly makes up more than half.

Some other reported issues with the iOS 7 include motion sickness from the animations. These concerns have been confirmed by doctors whose patients have come to them complaining of the sickness. A thread on Apple's forums led to more and more users who were complaining of the same problem.

"I had severe vertigo the minute I started using my ipad with ios 7. Lost the rest of the day to it... And not happy at all. It's the transition between the apps flying in and out," one person wrote.

The iPhone users who wish to update to iOS 7 can go to "settings" and then "general" to find the update waiting for them.
