William Levy has faced criticism after dropping out of "Sin Censura."

The live, on-stage show features a group of men taking off their clothes, and many were excited about Levy's participation. But when the first shows came around, and Levy was not on the stage, many felt misled by the promotional material that featured Levy.

Actress Lorena Herrera, whose husband, Roberto Assad, is in the show, spoke out against Levy. She said that he used Mexico, and now that he is a Hollywood star, he does not need the country that made him famous.

On "Suelta La Sopa," Levy responded to her comments.

When Levy was first told about what Herrera said, the actor said that he did not think she said that. After he was assured that her comments were true, he became serious.

"It embarrrasses me that someone says that without talking to me first," he said. "I said in all the interviews that I did that it wasn't a sure thing."

He then explained that he had work engagements, and that it was a mistake to promote him without actually knowing if he would be able to participate. But he does not think anyone should be blamed.

The Cuban actor also took the opportunity to express his love for Mexico.

On Nov. 9, Levy shared a cryptic message on his Twitter account.

"Tomorrow when you know the news, I hope you know how to respect it," he said.

Many believed that he would share news the following day, but he has instead been quiet ever since. Nothing has been shared anything on his Instagram account either.

There is plenty of interest, as the message has received many retweets, replies and favorites, and publications and fans have both jumped to the conclusion that the message is about his relationship with Elizabeth Gutierrez.
