After trying out "NBA 2K15" for the first time, I came to two immediate conclusions: the simulation of the game is amazing, but the game itself is not an easy one to master.

When playing for the first time, it is best to devote plenty of time to set up the actual game. You will be asked to update any new content that 2K Sports put into the game, and for some reason, they ask your birthdate.

Finally I had created a player that looked sort of like myself. There were many characteristics to choose from: eye shape, eye color, ears, mouth and even skin tone.

I got a little bored of the create-your-own-player mode so I headed to quick game. It was the Phoenix Suns vs. the Brooklyn Nets. I chose the Suns.

The game was very difficult to play. I tried some outside shots but could not figure out how to hit them. I tried to push it down low to my center. He made a few shots, but it was not easy.

Finally I took my short point guard and had him drive coast-to-coast. For some reason this worked once, but not the following time.

Fouls are super sensitive. Do not reach in and try to steal the ball -- the refs will call it.

If you are lucky enough to get fouled by the CPU, good luck on the free throws. They are nearly impossible to figure out.

Perhaps I could take advantage of the locker codes (cheats) that help players gain a competitive advantage over the CPU. I'm more of a gamer who likes to beat the game without help.

However, here are is a locker code for you:

Here are 1,000 free virtual coins that you can use to spend however you choose in the game. Just type in IWATCHEDNBA2KTV.

NBA2K4live has a ton more locker codes available.

What do you think of "NBA 2K15?" Is it fun or too hard?
